Avi Goldwasser
Avi was a co founder of the David Project an organization dedicated to teaching college and high school students about the Middle East conflict. He is the executive producer of “Columbia Unbecoming” a documentary about the intimidation of Jewish students at Columbia University in New York. This documentary has received considerable press coverage including in the New York Times, London's Financial Times, Israel's Jerusalem Post, and Egypt's Al-Aharm, Lebanon's Daily Star. Portion of the film have been shown on CNN, Fox News, ABC News, PBS and Israel's Channel 2. Moreover the video and resulting media coverage led to an internal investigation by Columbia University and a structural change on how the university deals with complaints by students.
He is also the executive producer “The Forgotten Refugees” The film which has been translated to six languages and screened in dozens of college campuses and over thirty film festivals, has won several film festival prizes including “Best Documentary Film” at the Mirabella Film Festival in Spain and in the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival. The film has been broadcast on over a dozen PBS stations including in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Washington DC; on Israeli Television and on a Russian Cable Channel. Moreover, the film has been shown at the U.N in Geneva, the U.S Congress, and the British and Italian Parliament.
Ralph Avi Goldwasser has been a financial executive and Chief Financial Officer in the high tech industry but in recent years has done considerable work in the Jewish community.
He currently lives in the Boston area. Mr. Goldwasser received a BS in Electrical Engineering from CCNY and an MBA from NYU.

Ilana Snapstailer
Ilana Snapstailer is the Director of Academic Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel to New England.
As Director of Academic Affairs, Ms. Snapstailer cultivates the relationship between the Israeli Consulate and the higher academic community. She works closely with students, professors, and university administration to bring quality Israel programs to the campuses. Ms. Snapstailer was responsible for the visit of Ambassador Michael Oren to the Harvard Kennedy School and Brown University, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor’s visit to Tufts, Brandeis and Harvard Universities. In her position, Ms. Snapstailer also sits on Boston’s Israel Campus Roundtable and monitors all Israel-related events and activities on New England’s campuses.
Formerly, Ms. Snapstailer served as New England Regional Director for USD/Hagshama-the university student branch of the World Zionist Organization. She holds a B.A. from Brandeis University in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and Education as well as an M.A. Modern Jewish Studies from Brandeis University
