The Department of Academic Affairs works closely with universities and colleges throughout New England, serving as a resource for both students and faculty in search of information on Israel. The Director of Academic Affairs offers Consulate resources to supplement research material or curricula, provides information to help develop symposia, and assists in arranging speaking engagements and events both on campus and at the Consulate. The Office of Academic Affairs also manages the Consulate's Speakers Bureau, offering knowledgeable speakers on virtually every topic related to Israel. The local speakers are available year round for speaking on campuses or in the community. We often invites a wide array of leading Israeli scholars, artists and political leaders representing the entire spectrum of academic disciplines to visit our area. The Office of Academic Affiars also sits on the Israel Campus Roundtable, a coalition of organizations working with campuses in New England on Israel advocacy and programming.
